I agree. From what I have seen since returning last night, it appears that the Bush camp is not going to contest the other states even though some were also close enough for a recount. The Gore folks seemed to be encouraging the litigation (in Palm Beach County) while at the same time emphasizing that the suits were brought by private citizens protecting their own rights to vote.... I guess he is waiting for the "controlling legal authority" to determine the outcome.

I will say that I have no problem whatsoever with his conduct in awaiting a recount.....it's how both candidates react to the results of the recount that will be telling. We'll know that tonite.

I also looked at the Palm Beach ballot. With those big black arrows, anyone who was confused probably ought not be given the right to select the next leader of the free world all by themselves anyhow.....
