<<I heard that something like 19,000 votes have had to be thrown out in Florida. If this is true, nothing less than a revote will satisfy all parties.>>

Gee let's re-vote Cook County in Chicago then. Over 6% of the voters - 120,503 of them, double-punched or didn't vote for president at all.

And Wisconsin went to Gore by only 6 thousand votes, and there are allegations of vote fraud in Milwaukee.

The Bush campaign is pondering asking for a recount in Wisconsin and Iowa.

And in North Carolina, they have one place to vote "straight party". Many people used that mechanism, not realizing that it applied to everything EXCEPT the presidential vote. So they did not vote at all for President! North Carolina went to Bush.

And New Mexico is still not decided. Gore leads by 10,000 votes, but over 60,000 absentee ballots in a traditionally republican county have not yet been counted.

What a mess!
