Buchanan had the support of a few orthodox Rabbis. The only name that comes to mind offhand is Rabbi Daniel Lapin. We don't know what these little old ladies think.

I don't think it is unusual that older Jewish and Italian voters in Palm Beach Clunty would vote for the prolife Buchanan. JLA

PartyTime,

That was a Republican primary and after Buchanon had a strong showing in New Hampshire's Republican Primary. You honestly and realistically think elderly Jewish Democrats, with Lieberman on the Dem ticket, would support Buchanon so strongly in Year 2000?

You seem to be confusing too many issues here. First of all, the Jewish Democrats don't vote in Republican primaries. The county apparently has other residents in addition to the Jewish Democrats
