And yes, ballot dirty tricks still go on, especially in those large cities where old time political machines are at work. Memphis and Chicago are examples that come to mind.
Politically, the chances of passing a constitutional amendment doing away with the present system are probably nil at this time.

Its too bad but apparently your observations are correct based upon what's coming out of FLA this AM.
