OT mike- I'm glad you are not a dim wit and are able to line up an arrow. I trust your post today will be preserved on SI until the day you're standing in line holding on to your walker with the wish that you will not have to use your pee bottle.

Harvey

Mike,

The election is over? Get real, there is no declard winners so you are badly mistaken.

Buchannan came out this morning and stated that he believes that there were errors is the balloting and he received votes that were intended for Gore.

True, the results were prematurely announced and may have affected Bush voters in the pan handle area. So in all fairness to Americans, I think the entire state should revote.

Lastly, whoever is elected President is a lame duck with no support from the people, congress or senate. We are going to have a status quo for another four years. I do not know if this is good or bad but the electorate has made the statement.

Your worst nightmare would be if Bush is elected President and is a lame duck for the next four year and then Hillary runs for President and wins. People like yourself might consider moving out of the country. Anyone who can do what Hillary did in NY is really good and a future candidate. I am not a Dem. or Hillary supporter but just stating the facts.

The Rep. are in a lose/lose position.

Bob.

Once Florida recount is announced, the election should be over period. The politician's can nickle and dime this thing to death. The Palm Beach County ballots was approved by the Democrats. It's not a illiterate county and should be held accountable on following instructions. 19,000 ballots disqualified because more than one candidate was picked. We should have a mental competency combined with a drivers license test for that county. Some voters were told there were no more ballots, or that polls were closed. Here again if a crime was committed, way wait?

mike,

<<This election is over, count the damn ballots and declare a winner. Because some dimwit can't line up a name and arrow with a hole is no fault of mine nor anyone else's.

Couldn't agree with you more. Next we'll have Wolf Blitzer giving a minute by minute account of each vote tally and an interview with the person who cast it.

Cheers,

Norm
