Why did you buy JDSU and not SDLI? I certainly would have if it weren't for the 30-day wash rules.

I've been meaning to ask - when the merger approval is announced, who will be doing the announcing?

I'm just dying for ANY kind of good news. Not only am I pretty heavily invested in fiber optic stocks but my overall biggest holding is Broadcom. Ouch!

Pat, why buy SDLI vs. JDSU? Did you really mean "buy SDLI and short JDSU" to capture the spread?

Well, I'm no arb, and even if I was, this deal is not a done deal. Obviously as the deal closing gets closer, SDLI will fall and JDSU will rise (short arbs must cover) to close the current gap.

What am I missing here?
