Amy, exactly what did you mean in this sentence ?

His Dad (when President) once said, "women belong at home." I heard him say it myself. Does Bush JR share this same belief with his Dad, which is fortunately an illegal belief to have in today's Corporate America.

My interpretation is that the believe is illegal.

Amy, are you denying making this post?

"Does Bush JR share this same belief with his Dad, which is fortunately an illegal belief to have in today's Corporate America"

Someone posting under your name said it. That is a direct cut and paste quote from you.

Re: "Btw, it appears you are "dodging" my question about the Governor of Texas and his state's lower condition of day care centers"

I know nothing about Texas daycare centers and I couldn't care less. What I do know is you claimed that having a belief was illegal and now you deny ever saying it. It would have been easy for you to clarify your statement but you chose not to do that. You are quite confused IMO, and I think there is little to be gained by continuing this.

Re: "Elmer, do you think the Governor in Texas believes women should stay at home, and if so, would this belief demotivate him to improve his State's day care centers?"

I think you have taken his Fathers quote out of context...

To answer your question, I do not want to live in a society where one's secret thoughts are held in question

That didn't answer my question about day care.

Not sure how your comment above relates to my post on day care (that you were responding to).

My answer is no and no.

Now a question for you. Did you really mean to say "Does Bush JR share this same belief with his Dad

Elmer,
I never said that, nor did I imply it. You typed it.

Btw, it appears you are "dodging" my question about the Governor of Texas and his state's lower condition of day care centers.

Elmer, when you go on tangents, it creates confusion because you incorrectly assume that "never" applies to all posts, as oppose to the "never" in the post above that you were responding to. Nonetheless, I'll concede I am normally more precise by not excluding even the obvious, such as, "having expressed" and "never in this post as you have incorrectly implied".

So, why did you say I said "hold" when I didn't? And why did you continue to say "hold" when I corrected you?
And why did you continue to say "belief," when I had immediately corrected your misinterpretation Message 14762064
