People are very emotional about this state of affairs. No one trusts anyone on the other side, and I don't blame them. There is just too much at stake. The Clintonian legacy of dirty tricks, the aroma that surrounds anyone from the Daley family, the suspicion that people have for the Bush family, all is in play here. When Bush, Sr., was active in politics, it was very common to hear conspiracy theories about the Trilateral Commission and One Worldism and so forth. What is the name of that club that Bush belongs to that women can't join because the men run around naked in the woods? The one that so many wealthy and powerful men belong to? Flats would know. A lot of people all over the world believe that rich people and multi-national corporations really control everything. This is especially widely believed in the Third World. Bush, Sr., having run the CIA doesn't help. And then you've got Gore's history of fundraising with the Buddhist nuns - LOL! "No controlling legal authority" Gore.

It has been obvious who the press is BIASed towerds. From Documentaries that compare DUBYA to john Bulushi in Animal House to calling Florida way before it was appropriate. The press in this country is a complete JOKE, as bad as the financial press is the Political press is worse. we are all
subjected to biased, nit-wit's pushing their opinion as fact's The most astounding is this whole issue of the Electoral college which has been balloned into an issue. Twice president's have been elected without Majority of the popular vote. Why should it be changed? It is there to protect smaller states from being left out in the political process. this country is a UNION of states that is how it was formed, and that is why we have an electoral college. The founding fatrher's were very woried about Centralized federal Government, as they should be, thus the states with the least power were given a better voice. Would anyone campaighn in IOWA if not for the electoral college? The system is excellent considering how long ago it was invented, and whom are these Syracyse alumni morons to question the intellect of John Adam's, Alex Hamilton, Jeferson and the likes.

DAK, the media cares little about responsibility- victory for Gore is more important to them. They question the fairness of the electoral college system as designated by the US constitution perhaps they should have spent less time reading Marx -g-. They are used to governing by polls rather than the law of the land when it suits their agenda. mike
