I certainly would like to see it. I think Nader is right on this issue, and we need federally financed campaigns. We need shorter campaigns and less expensive campaigns. However we should broaden the parties up to 3-4 parties. As far as the issue ads. Iwould sincerely hope that once the candidates get the money they need for a campaign from the state; and don't need to grovel to special interests for the money, that will take away the special interests power. In other words, if the candidates don't need to reciprocrate in kind, the special interests will find better ways to spend their money.
