In any case, I think, when the vote comes out with a narrow margin for Bush today, that Gore will acknowledge defeat, and that the show will be over.

I certainly hope that whichever way the outcome ends up going that the candidates do what is best for the country and not fight it. The move by Nixon to not ask for a recount is the most admirable thing he ever did. The circumtances arent the same (no cold war) but I think the underlying thought of putting the country first is still valid.

Anyone hear anything about New Mexico? A Fox news reporter just stated that something like 65,000 ballots were thrown out in predominantly Republican counties.....supposedly Republican analysts are trying to push for examination of the ballots in NM, Iowa, and Wisconsin.

I hope the candidates ignore their operatives....
