When you look at the breakout shown on a link provided about 6 million posts ago showing coounty by county votingand how the recount is going, your figures don't fly.
With 35 counties to be recounted (At the time what was shown -I've tried refreshing the link but thefigures haven't been updated if new data has becomeavailable) I seethe following predictions:

Gore will receive approximately 1840+ votes following the recount and Bush will receive about 550+. This will still give the state and presidency to Bush. These fugures DO NOT include absentee ballots yetto be counted.

Of the counties yet to be counted (32) Bush had a 63,497 vote lead from the first vote. Statistically, this doesn't suggest Gore will get enough to win. Thus he'sleft with lawsuits - yeesh
