The first two instances you cite can be easily remedied without major disruption and within legal precedent and as if they had never happened. However they are not the same as an election.

Trying to change or overturn an otherwise sanctioned election can be compared to trying restore an egg yoke to liquid form once it's been hard cooked, it can't be done. Like a battle once fought cannot be undone.
