doing okay with your options?

Not yet...

I still have a lot of learning to do.
I'm just testing the water with options.

I'm holding a few contacts in PMCS, PWER, LHSP, and AAPL.
It's a very tiny portion of my portfolio.
For the most part they are recent purchases and out a few months.

I started with a small amount of money and hopefully I won't have to add to it. I'd prefer to build up this options account without having to sink more and more money into it.

I'm basically trying to use short term trades, according to TA.
In addition, I've been trying to capitalize on over-reactions in stock price.

I also promised myself that I would not buy calls on an up day. I'm learning that it's a completely different ball game.

I have a lot to learn in respect to IV and deltas and all those other tricks to the trade...

For now, I'm just trying to build up a solid base in my account to trade from.

I have a long way to go.

P.S. Thanks for pointing out that H&S formation. I'll keep an eye on it. Extended the neckline out near 54ish.
Perhaps I'll dump it if it get close to that target.

Hi! Di, elections from this side of the pond.

Next legislature already tagged as "interim" as there is, in fact, no governing majority either in the Senate or in the House.
Missing ballots in the recount, whether or not absentees and expats votes will be in completely (every envelope counts) will lead to further uncertainty.
Heard that all US lawyers have chartered every available flying object heading to Florida (LOL).

Majority is too narrow, expecting lawsuits.

State voters uncertain also: some states have a law regulating the votes, some only "traditionally" give their votes to the majority candidate: this could change (think of the power -and price- of these voters).

After an eventual vote (and this one could be delayed), usually 100 days are needed to choose key personalities (High Court, FED, ....).

We are starting to look in our own backyard and see that we could make it on our own, without US leadership.
Euro index made a jump today (1.5%), this time without central banks intervention. Foreign funds will not stay long invested in USD in the current uncertainty, and foreign funds equals about 15% of US deficit: these funds could be repatriated at the speed of a mouse-click.

One of the candidates should concede his defeat ASAP, IMHO, place the Country's interests above his personal ego. Any delay is bad for US credibility.
