the loss of credibility is from gore not bush. this self serving politician is making a mockery of our system. nixon cared enough about the process not to challenge the irregularities in illinois in 1960. gore doesn't care about this country- gore cares about gore.

If Bush is sworn in under these circumstances it'd be the worst inaugural event in the histoy of the nation. Frankly, I don't think Bush wants this. He should honorably concede Florida to Gore, in the process become a national hero. This would well set the table for him in a future presidential election which he'd likely win, as a consequence of his actions today.

Were I a GOPwinger, I'd be contacting Bush's campaign encouraging him to do this. Really, it's the honorable thing to do. And the entire nation would be proud of him were he to demonstrate such courage.
