I'm not a Gore supporter, but if he validly carries Florida, you won't see me complaining about either the popular or EC vote. Both of these men know what the rules are, and they'll abide by them.

I'm more concerned about ninnies like you who moan and groan about Gore possibly losing the EC but winning the popular vote, and how horrible that is. The EC was designed as a small check against the tyranny of the majority and as a recognition of States rights. You might want to put down your comic books and some serious reading of Constitutional history. Though it might be scary to see what is left behind, your cerebral cobwebs might get swept out as a result of such an enterprise.

Do you complain about how terribly unfair it was that the ballot was so "complex"? What do you want, a normal ballot for those who can read and write and "Ballot Lite" for people who can't read without moving their lips?
