Jill, well they have local elections on the ballot, so I suppose that's the reason. At the very least, there ought to be standards for the national part of the ballot -- where the candidates are listed, how large the type needs to be, that sort of thing. We do manu employee surveys for companies, and we don't let the departments change the questionnaire layout. We sometimes add questions if needed for a particular department, but everyone sees the same basic questions in the same way. Otherwise, we'd never be sure whether differences between departments were caused by the survey form.

<<It completely mystifies me they don't have a national form for the ballot--I had no idea they were made locally. For a national election? That's bizarre.>>

What I find ironic, interesting and a little humorous is that I brought all this stuff up yesterday, early in the day. Most folks thought I was doing more whining and jumped all over me ( not you ) saying what a great system this is and that I was a childish moron, that the mistakes were "teeny"....I was selfish because I was being inconvenienced and etc, etc, etc.........I brought up the numerous...and I mean numerous GLARING mistakes that were made in this election. I spent all day defending myself, yet now everybody is harping on the same stuff....maybe I'm not quite as stupid as I think I am<ggg>
