Well, if a Federal Judge that conservative and recommended by the elder Bush sides with the Gore people, at least no one can accuse him of being biased. But the Bush people will probably appeal.

Then again, if he sides with the Gore people, an appeal will occur.

Side note: Repubs in WI, IA and NM demanding recounts. Remember, if Gore hadn't won WI, IA AND NM, the FL vote would not have mattered.
