The 19K ballots were tossed because they had multiple punch-outs for the candidates. The voters should have asked for help at the time they screwed up, not after they found out that Gore lost! A revote would be an election irregularity. In 1996, 15K double punched ballots were tossed out. There were no complaints then about disenfranchisement. Dave, They learned of their mistake outside the polling place right after they voted. They complained at that time but to no avail. ted
