Here's another possibility: Nader is discredited, as you say, along withn the Green Party -- and contrary to Nader's original intention, the Democratic Party shifts more to the right.

Some of the Nader voters will regret what they did, but most will not...they were committed to Nader. And of course, Nader will never regret what he did...(that's why secretly I'd like to see Bush(if he is elected) dig up every friggin barrel of oil out of the Alaskan north and force Nader to watch it<g>)

Ken--Do you think Teddy Roosevelt regretted running as a Bull Moose candidate to help get Wilson elected? I am certain he didn't.

The difference is that TR openly admitted that what he was doing was ensuring the Wilson election because he wanted Taft to lose. Nader doesn't have the kahones to admit that.
