Who knows how this will end..there is no real precedent. Its a little bizarre and I think it may underscore that the way we vote needs to be revamped and made more uniform and less susceptible to fraud or error or confusion.

Agreed.

I think the registration process should be revamped. In New York State, there is nothing that stops non-citizens from registering and voting in presidential elections.

And the mail in ballot you have in the pacific northwest is just about the worst idea IMO.

But, if there are any changes that achieve a perfect election, on balance, Democrats will lose "votes".

Amen, brother!

The equipment needs to be modernized. but not an Internet system just yet. Some systems used are over 35 years old based on hundred-year old designs. The local counties, etc bear the cost of the equipment used for these national elections. The federal government should give block grants to all local governing bodies for purchase of new equipment to speed accurate and tamper-proof ballot counts.
