JF3,

If you are watching the Republican response on TV, you will notice they have indicated (with what appears to be credible evidence) that Daley (sp) may have been deceitful on a number of issues.

It seems that there may be a recount in Iowa, by law, due to the closeness of the vote there..... & Wisconsin might also be a recount too.... both states were within a few thousand votes for Gore..... there are many, many tens of thousands (likely hundreds of thousands) absentee ballots still out in a few states... NM has one large district (mostly republican) still uncounted, but Republicans conceded it may not tip NM to Bush. Oregon has two large republican areas yet to be counted.

My take on the Republican responses is that they are trying to take the high road & to dispell the misinformation being spread.

BTW, CNBC announced that the Bush lead in Florida has shrunk to 405 votes.
