BTW: If it is designed by a democrat does not imply that it is correct. Both party representatives have to approve it. So the mistake is both of Dems and Reps

apparently there is a law requiring the punch hole to be to the right of each candidate, to avoid this kind of confusion.

Please explain to me why you think the ballot was legal. Please cite an update copy of Florida election law relative to ballot placement. Are you saying it isn't true that the punch-hole legally had to be to the right of the candidate's name?

Regarding the sample, what was previewed prior to Tuesday's voting was a sample ballot not including the punch-holes and one which had not withstood the scrutiny of Tuesday voters.
