Richard,

Changing the law to require military personnel overseas to vote 10 days earlier than the rest of us would take away their right to choose candidates based on the same info the rest of us have. For example, IF anyone decided to vote against Bush based on his 24 year old DWI plea, they did so after hearing about it 5 days before the election. Overseas military personnel had access to the same info at the same time, and had the right to cast votes based on that current info (if they were so inclined).

What a great idea as long as they are sealed you would hate to see the networks try to beat each other by calling the state before the actual election day. <g> That is a good idea, along with a national standardize ballot.
