I'm sure they've been attempting to reverse it, but they aren't going to get too far on that effort when the CEO announces things like 1.5ghz in january and 2 months later, they have to retract and say 1.5ghz in june.

Also, the SMP effort has been shabby, they were originally supposed to have SMP this year, and won't get it until H1, which means it probably won't really be available until at least Q3.

The no one ever got fired for buying Intel philosophy will be going strong until AMD can repair it's tarnished reputation (which it probably won't start to do until Jerry Sanders retires).

Those of you who were beating me up and wanted an example of where his comments have hurt the company got another one today. If he wasn't spouting off trying to win the mhz pissing contest with intel a couple months ago we wouldn't be looking at such a negative report today.
