"Palestinian powers that be, whatever they are."

That trivializes them, Cobe. It also implies a sort of amorphousness of the concept or entity. In a slighter way, so does the choice of the phrase "powers that be" instead of "Palestinian Authority" or "Yassar Arafat" or "Palestinian strategists" or a combination of those.

A college freshman would perceive those nuances, and I believe you are capable of perceiving them, too.

Just trying to remember what you have had to say, in these conversations, about the role ("blame"), in the child-martyr-deaths, of the Palestinian strategists and PR machine, which I myself have discussed at such tedious length, and then, when you indicated that you'd missed those references, discussed again.

Would you help me on this?
