what if gore wins the recount, loses the hand recount, bush
wins when absentees come in, a judge rules the buchanan votes in gores favor, bush wins the popular vote,
and loses the electoral college, then someone defects..

If Gore wouldn't insist on a hand recount, I'd be very upset.

What do you think the reproducibility in a hand recount is going to be on possibly 1 million votes?
