Actually, there were a lot of Bush votes unaccounted for as well. 1,700 votes out of 6 million is statistically nil, and these differences aren't significant (until someone needs them to win).

Fiber and all, I am amazed at the corrections are virtually all favoring Gore...the errors all went the same way.

IMO, there was a selective forgetfulness statewide to count all the ballots from predominantly democratic precincts -- probably black ones. After the recount was ordered and attention focused on the counters, some probably got scared and included the previously forgotten votes.
