your comment referring to financial asset inflation. you couldn't be more wrong. i simply point you to the 1920's bubble, and the 1980's bubble in Japan. didn't hurt anyone? well, LOL.

the ultimate consequences of financial asset cum debt bubbles are MUCH graver than those of goods and services inflation, as the latter can be dealt with through stringent monetary policies, whereas the former lead to deflationary collapses, liquidity traps, and solvency crises, all of which no-one has yet found a recipe against, with the sole exception of waging a major war.
