You picked up that "disenfranchised" word pretty quick there! You should be careful with that word, IMHO. I think it's nothing more than a Gorespin. What a stupid word. Sounds like some psychiatrist made it up. Last year it was "empower". This year I guess it's "disenfranchise."

Voters have the right to vote, Murali. The registered, and they voted. That's what they did. They voted. But some of them screwed up their ballots. The ballots had been designed and approved by Democrats, published in the local newspaper, and sent by mail to every registered voter. The law in Florida says if you screw your ballot up, it doesn't count. That's pretty simple.

Fact: 16,000 people in the same county screwed up their ballots in 1996 and the ballots were tossed out. It's the law. They screwed up their ballots and the ballots don't count.

If somebody is unhappy about the fact that they failed to understand the ballot and they screwed up, then they can get busy and change the ballot next time. Simple.

I don't want to argue about this with you Murali. The Gore people have decided to take a huge step and contest the validity of the way the United States elects its president. I have no problem with that. I think they are making a huge mistake by doing it the way they are doing it. It makes me really sad to see what is happening, because I think they are trying to "resolve" it by creating the "disenfranchisement" themselves, and they are making things worse, and they are doing it on purpose.

I've had it with Clinton. 8 years. Now, Gore is starting the same crap and he hasn't even been elected yet.

That's it, my last post on this subject.

Argue about it all you want, I'm gone.

My understanding is that they used the same ballot design in the last election. None of the idiots complained then.

Guess thst proves they're idiots.
