Gore national lead has dwindled to 200k it has been cut in half with only a fraction of absentees counted !!! still mostly uncounted: 1.1 million total in Calif 900k in Wash state over 1 million in NewYork (impounded, they said) in 1996 about 4 million absentee votes changed final count for Clinton substantially that election had a pathetically low voter turnout we could see at least 8 million absentee votes here and historically they run Republican by over 10% the arrogant one now might be Gore, who claims he won the popular vote I predict: GORE WILL LOSE THE NATIONAL COUNT !!! / jim

Hey Jimbo... With the four counties remaining Bush is in control. If you add up what he won those counties by before the recount it totals 40308!!! No way does Gore come back..IMHO -drenko
