Thanks Trev,your suggestions are helpful.

I do have written confirmation that I bought that call,so how can they now say that the trade is "broken". They say that their contra-provider(?) made a mistake when they confirmed the trade. Two supervisors have already called me trying to soothe things over but an offer of five free trades hardly comes close to making up for the lost profit. They say that I didn't lose any money, so I should be happy, but I lost profit and I think the whole thing really stinks.

I appreciate your feedback, because as a new trader,I wasn't sure if this was just something I should expect as a cost of doing business. It's scary to think that you can't trust a confirmed buy order.
