I'm not invested in Humanity and no one else is either. I just admit it but others will not because it is not socially correct.. I dare say I'm not the only one. I doubt very seriously if anyone on this thread including you would be willing to put humanity per se above their Investment in the literal sense.

Nice statement but surely you don't believe GORE gives a rats ass about anybody and that includes the so called disenfranchised but himself. He is proving that today. Sounds good but he has you hoodwinked.

Me - I believe in equal opportunity period - there are no disenfranchised - THERE ARE ABLE AND DISABLED. If people are able, they can get off their ass, get a job and work like the rest of us had to do. If disabled then let's lend a helping hand.

When my Irish ancestors came to this country they were up against tremendous prejudice. They worked their asses off until they could scrape enough together to improve their lives and no one gave a rats about them, they didn't ask for a handout. Just hard damn work.

BTW - there are many humanitarian causes that will be glad to take your money. Something tells me they won't get but a smidge.

It depends upon your definition of "humanity." There is, of course, no controlling legal authority.

"Markets, schmarkets.
Gore would be better for humanity. "

It's the same cheese-brained pseudo-intellectual nonsense that praised Lenin, Uncle Joe (Stalin), Chairman Mao, Uncle Ho (Chi Minh) to high heavens, while totally ignoring the realities that are consequences of their statist policies. You think Gore's price control will really help the elderly? Only if you are planning on dying before the next drug development cycle bears fruits. Always keep in mind that it's the capitalist markets that came up with the new medicine that save people's lives; the socialist heaven-on-earth couldn't even come up with enough food to keep their people alive, even when they were not busy sending people off to gulags for being politically incorrect.

Morning Rose,

I would love to know on exactly what do you base your claim that Gore would be better for humanity. Do you have knowledge of Bush's human rights violations? There have been several posts documenting Gore's exaggerations and outright lies, here and on other threads. I am at a loss to understand how this makes Gore better.

Later,
Joel
