...a copy of the ballot was sent, before the election, to every registered voter... I think it's pretty clear what happened. Dem voter "assistants" went to rest homes and mental institutions and stressed to the residents that they should vote for Algore, the guy who was the second name on the ballot. They stressed "vote for the second person," instead of telling people to punch the third hole. In effect, they were caught in their own mess. No rational person could not see the little arrow between Algore's name and the punch hole. Certainly not 19,000 rational people. Q.E.D. jim
