I'm sure she is. I don't doubt that there were the best of intentions in its design. Even if it were only of local importance, I imagine she would be feeling bad to have such an uproar when she had done her job with care. It must be devastating under these circumstances.

As to Flap's remark, such things do happen, unfortunately, done by elements of all parties. After having just read someone's characterization of the good Reps and the bad Dems which was quite blistering, I guess his comment struck me as rather benign and specific, rather than a blanket statement about Reps.

As to the statute, I'd like more information. There must be a very good reason the former <insert long title> said it was against it.

Maybe I should take a break and go fact-finding again.
