another way to look at it is that Bush total changed by 0.0023 of 1 percent and Gore total changed by 0.0076%.

You could look at it that way, but it would be incorrect to do so. There were only 2,000 errors, and that is the number which the analysis has to be based on. The difference between Bush errors and Gore errors should have been well under 10%, in a sample of that size.

Strange that the vote count was 3X more accurate with Bush than Gore. Don't you find that a little suspicious?

No, that's right, you are a Republican...the discrepancy is perfectly reasonable and I am sure you can explain it away.
