jmac, The ballot used in Palm Beach was used in the last election. It was reviewed & accepted by the Democratic officials for both elections. Democratic officials were given a fair opportunity to note any irregularities prior to both elections. BTW, there were over 14,000 ballots thrown out from the prior election, yet the same ballot made was deemed acceptable for this election. There was ample time to remedy this before last Tuesday. BTW, if you listened to the Republican response today, they pointed out that there was a huge difference in the % of folks who registered to the minority parties in Palm Beach.... like 4 times the average in the state..... I heard also that a large number of folks (2900?) voted for Buchanan in 1996. It was reported on the Buy Range that Buchanan's sister lives in Palm Beach. Perhaps there weren't as many confused voters as some would have us believe. BTW, How would you determine who is granted a second opportunity to vote that is fair & without possibility of abuse or that does not exclude unfairly? How will you assure every one of these people will vote for the same candidate again? Where does it stop? Should every grievance, real or perceived be rooted out throughout this land? Ö¿Ö
