Read the Constitution.

BTW I am a Republican and voted for Nader because neither Gore or Bush are worthy of being President.

IMHO

Michael,

If Bush had any character, he would concede right now.

I agree, but he clearly is not up to it.

RE:"It is very clear that Gore won both the popular vote as well as Florida.

19,000 spoiled ballots voting for both Gore and Pat B.
If even as few as 1,000 of them were for Gore, gore won.
Pat B. himself conceeded he did no ads in that county nor does he think the votes are his. I do not like Pat, but I do not think he is saying this to stir things up. He is a man of principle (I just do not like what he stands for) I do believe he is honest.

In all likelihood, at least 18,000 more votes were for Gore.
Am I saying this because I am a Gore fan? - NO I AM NOT"

You are watching too much TV...
1, The Dems say no way PB County could have 3,000 Buchanon votes, had to be a mistake.
truth is: in 1996, Buchanan got 8,000 votes in PB county.

2. Dems say 19,000 ballots where thown out and because people were confused about voting for Gore.
truth is: in 1996, there were 15,000 tossed out ballots and the turnout was much less...
BTW, the ballot get tossed if there is any double voting.

3. Dems say that the butterfly ballot was unfair, in PB county.
truth is: They used the same type of ballot in 1996, it was drawn up by the democrat supervisor of elections and approved by both the democratic and republican parties.
Cook county, Ill. uses a butterfly ballot and they elected Jesse Jackson Jr. to Congress. Jesse Jackson Sr. didn't seem to have a problem with it then.
