The mere fact you ask the question reveals your singular strand of DNA. I'm not an "expert" on campaign strategies, but it doesn't require one to answer your question. Pick the five most populous states and campaign in those states the entire time. Which states would those be? NY, Fl, CA, Il, MI, I don't know, but the US Bureau of Census could tell you where to concentrate and I dare say that the so called "fly over country" would never see a candidate.
