Taking bets are we? <g> I tried to bet someone on another thread that there would be NO change in the electoral system due to this.

I might have gotten away with it if I hadn't told them there have been 600 attempts to do that already, and they all have failed. <g> This is our political system. Love it, leave it, or change it. And you're not likely to change it.

On a more serious note:
The need for a strong central government has past, and we are experiencing the pains of reform. Yes, that's correct- real estate values have likely peaked in the nation's capitol, and they are going down hill from here.

I think Toffler has predicted this de-centralization for quite some time now.
