Following it is another matter. -g-

Am I reading the Constitution correctly that if the election were to go to the House (say if Florida cannot be finalized and 270 cannot be reached), then Bush would be President (most states), and Gore would be the VP, having the most electoral votes, in either a separate vote or not, it's not clear.

I like your bet. I made one today, I'm betting that some time in the next two months Clinton will suggest he stay on longer because of the constitutional crisis, Dems are always good at creating a crisis out of anything.
