isopatch,
Glad someone is watching the weather, ggg.

On Security Trader, 43 stocks and 15 indexes on yellow (caution: chart has had a violation of minor support or has broken down out of a bear formation), 10 stocks and 1 index red (major breakdown) and three indexes green, CRB, FPP, XAL. OSX encountered gap resistance (and of course the market angst) and has now formed a "weird looking" wedge.
XAU has a ST target of 48 and change.

BTW, I did one of the best things to clear the mind amongst all the FalDeeRah going on with the elections and the markets.

I spent the day hunting heavy sorghum and boy am I
BUSHED. I think I'll have to go back there and find wherever my legs ended up after they fell off, lucky I wasn't GORED to death crawling back through the briars <G>!
OTOH,
the ole Browning voted with certainty, absolutely no recount needed (LOL).

Best Regards,

Roebear

THE WOODLANDS, Texas, Nov 8 (Reuters) - Grant Prideco Inc. (NYSE:GRP), which makes oil drilling equipment, said on Wednesday it wants to drop a shelf registration covering $500 million in securities that it filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission in April.

The company no longer foresees the need for such a filing, it said in a statement. It said it would seek SEC approval to withdraw the filing.

But just a few days earlier...

WASHINGTON, Oct 26 (Reuters) - Grant Prideco Inc. (NYSE:GRP) on Thursday filed with regulators to sell, from time to time, up to $500 million in debt securities, preferred and common stock, depositary shares and warrants.

The company plans to use the proceeds for acquisitions and general corporate purposes, including working capital, investments in subsidiaries and debt repayment.

iso,

I do, and still like ROIL. The stock was up due to a nice discovery in the GOM.

biz.yahoo.com

ROIL and TMR have both been very successful with the drill bit this year.
