TG,

The thing with Mustang is that it is probably delayed by 1Q all together. If the sweet spot is let's say 1.3 GHz, AMD may not have the volume to launch the 1.5 GHz on hand by the end of Q1. That's my attempt at explanation of what's going on.

Another possibility is that it is here, on time, but the sweet spot is lower.

TG, if you read the Q3 conference call, you'll see that Jerry said things would definitely NOT improve in Q4. But the NORMAL expectation is that ASP's AND volumes both decline in Q1. Q1'99 was a total disaster.

My own expectation is that ASP will be $92 in Q4, $90 in Q1, $92 in Q2. Beyond that it depends on the speed of Intel's P4 ramp vs. the scalability of the "horses."
