I don't beleive UMA is the real problem...

The real problem is that KT133 has no competition, no pricing pressure. Socket370 mobos (Integrated or not) are about 30-40$ cheaper than sock462 ones. Integrated video can add an extra 20$ discount. The pricing situation is actually improving nicely. You can now see an ATX PC Chips mobo pricing in the 80's. Following this trend would bring the average mobo price down 20-30$ in Q1, at that moment the price delta isn't a big deal.

I noticed that my local dealer no longer offers Duron under 700 and the 700 is priced 25% higher than the deceased 600MHz. AMD is doing right, they'll catch back some of the mobo's price drop.

In February we should have Duron going from 800 to 900MHz with ASP 25-30% higher than the Q3'ones... the problem is that Athlon's ASP drop will offset that gain. ASP won't climb before Q2, with the arrival (in volume) of the Palominos.
