Tom, I think you'll find Tekboy's take on Gore/Bush very interesting.

Why doesn't someone from AP phone them and find out to put to bed! How difficult can that be if they have all the counts for all the other counties. Man, this is really getting on my one last nerve. You would think that Bore would give his head a slap and 'do the right thing'. Concede and he will be a most honourable man! Let us get this over with, PLEASE!!

I don't understand how people took the time to vote but didn't take the time to match an arrow with a circle nor ask someone for help nor review the sample ballot (designed by a Democrat and approved by the Democratic party) that was sent to them prior to the election. Why didn't all these people protest and complain and litigate prior to the election taking place? The interesting part about this is that Gore's own ignorant voters may have very well cost him the election. Talk about slapping yourself in the face.

To make sure I voted correctly, I had the volunter standing in front of the booth help me cast my vote, that was not difficult or confusing. Basically the Gore people are wanting overturn an election (if in fact Bush wins the recount) in a court. They are setting a precedence that is scary, turning the electoral process into a legal battle. What's sad is that Gore and his people are about to truly show the world what America has become, a big courtroom that cost the American taxpayers more and more money. Long live democracy. This litigation will be as silly as when McDonald's was sued over serving a hot cup of coffee. The scary part is that McDonald's lost.
