When I was a young Marine Officer, I voted for Barry Goldwater because he said he would send enough of us to Viet Nam to end the war. It turned out in the end that he was right. Not that I looked forward to combat but it really made sense to me. He lost, we lost, I lost a lot of friends and I have never been the same since. The world is not going to spin the way you always want it to. The spin is up to you. Don't wait for "them" to get something that you believe in, go find it yourself.
