The things that I find most absurd
1. Ballot approved by both parties
2. Head of elections for the county of dispute = a Democrat and it was fine with her.
3. Koko the Signing Gorilla could figure out how to use the ballot. (Koko voted for the candidate of the Natural Law party)
4. The actual design of the ballot was to accommodate those with poor vision (big letters)
5. Sample ballots were mailed out
6. Sample ballots were in the newspapers.
7. Instructions are provided with the ballot.
8. If a voter screws up in filling out a ballot, he or she can go to request a new ballot and fill it out correctly. That means that people who voted for 2 candidates have no excuse for handing in screwed up ballots. Anyone stupid enough not to realize that the Gore/Lieberman ticket was a team and only required one vote and the Bush/Cheney ticket only required one vote should be classified as brain dead & have the rest of their organs donated for people who are on donor lists.

The above are facts. The following are my opinions
1. There should be an iq test in order for the privilege to vote.
2. The naturalization process should not be accelerated by ANY political party in order to garner votes by those immigrants.
3. The packs/cartons of cigarettes offered to destitute people in Milwaukee by Democratic workers in return for votes should be ground up and made into a tobacco enema for Mr. Gore and the woman in NY who was in charge of the cigarettes for votes operation. And I thought Gore was so...anti-tobacco. Does this mean he is trying to give cancer to the poor? Huh? Please tell us uncle Al.

Compare population now to population in 1996. It is higher so there should be more bad ballots. In addition, given the rush to naturalize people to voting status by the Democratic party, (references supporting this available lots of places - if you really care, I can track them down this weekend for you), it is not surprising that there are now people who likely are allowed to vote who don't have sense enough to come in out of the rain or wipe their butt after they take a dump. (pardon the graphic description) but that is likely the reality. So, am I surprised that there are more screwed up ballots today than a couple years ago? Heck, no.

The number is actually less than 7000.

From where did you get this number?
