John, Conversely, this might pressure Dell into adopting AMD parts?? Sounds unlikely...but it is possible. After you hit Mikey on the head withongoing reality he might take a new tack.
I can see no logical reason for his dogmatic attachment to Intel. It is bad business to stick with Intel, as the market has shown and this will continue for at least 1-2 years before Intel has a chance to recover...if they ever do??

Dell may not sink us today, but it sure looks like those upgrades (singular?) are doing a nice job of it. But then that's completely consistent with AMD's modus operandum.
