Yes, I agree.

I wonder on what basis Jeb called Dubya? What did Jeb know that George didn't? Who called Jeb between the time Florida was announced for Gore and when Jeb called George?

If this Florida vote fiasco goes through, it'll make what happened in Chicago in '60 look like child's play.

Exactly. You can also look at other detailed exit poll data, like in Thursday's WSJ. There must be a subset of this, for Palm Beach County, for many Precincts in Florida. The exit data is the real data of real voters, and not masked by Voter error or other irregularities.

How much did it influence turnout in the west?

How many more votes would Bush have received if the race wasn't being called "all but over" by every network the first 3rd of the evening?
