Hartcourt to Co-sponsor 'Beijing Night' at Comdex 2000

Of 100 Hi-Tech Entrepreneurs Will Participate

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- The Hartcourt Companies Inc.
(OTC Bulletin Board: HRCT; Frankfurt: HCT), www.hartcourt.com today announced
that it will be a co-sponsor of the Comdex "eBeijing Forum -- Venture Capital
and New Economy in China," also known as "Beijing Night," to be held on
November 15, 2000 at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas.
China State Information Center (CSIC) has organized a delegation
consisting of more than 100 representatives of well-known Chinese hi-tech
enterprises to visit Comdex 2000. The Beijing Night Forum at Comdex is
intended to introduce this delegation to various technology related ventures
and partners and will be co-sponsored by W.I. Harper (www.wiharper.com), the
renowned venture capital firm based in San Francisco and Business News
International, the leading media publishing company specializing in IT and
Medical Science in the Greater China Region. The forum will create
opportunities for top IT executives in China to exchange ideas on emerging
technologies, new trends and business models with their U.S.-based
counterparts as well as members of the venture investment community.
Hartcourt CEO, Dr. Charlie Q. Yang, will be among the speakers presenting
their China focused business strategies to attendees of the forum.
Dr. Yang stated, "The Comdex Exhibition has become the premiere event for
the IT and Hi-Tech fields throughout the world. The elite participants of
China's IT industry take part in Comdex almost every year, but it's been
difficult for them to find an opportunity to interact with their counterparts
from other countries. We are very pleased that W.I. Harper Group asked us to
co-sponsor to this year's Beijing Night event. We are looking forward to this
important opportunity to strengthen business ties with entrepreneurs and
investment firms engaged in U.S - China business ventures."
