One of the few laws that actually make sense. Just think what would happen once you had a re-vote. Say you only did it for a tie -- then somebody would want it for a virtual tie and the margin would work itself up from there -- I see wisdom in that ...

that's what i thought...the chances of the legal challenge succeeding are slim. furthermore, the retropublicans are now demanding re-counts in other states where the race was close, and that might decide things anyway.
all that said, the Robot's decision to mount a legal challenge is like opening a can of worms - the question is, where will it end? for instance, the predominantly republican Fla. panhandle has a bunch of irate republican voters now, because their polling stations closed an hour later due to being in a different time zone, and when the networks initially gave Fla. to the Robot, they went home instead of voting.
